Estate Planning Webinar

During this webinar presented by ECS with guest speaker, Emily Pickering Esq., from the firm, Morgan Lewis, attendees learned about the importance of estate planning, including the need for a will, proper identification of charitable organizations, and the use of revocable trusts. Emily also explained the Federal estate tax system, Pennsylvania inheritance tax, and various methods of charitable giving, including giving appreciated securities and cash to 501(c)(3) organizations. Lastly, they addressed questions from attendees and announced an upcoming webinar on the power of Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) giving and the launch of the ECS Legacy Challenge in March.
